I hope you all had a lovely Easter. Mine was almost perfect. I spent the day alone, napping, reading and knitting. My mother called me hoping not to find me home. She had hoped that someone had taken pity on me and taken me in for the day. No amount of reassurance comforted her. Back home Easter seems to be more of a big deal than it is here. It�s analogous to Thanksgiving or Christmas, a time for family, so for her the idea of me being alone tugged at her heart strings. While I would have preferred to be with my family, it was a lovely day nevertheless.
