so this weekend i picked up some extra cash by working a small weekend. i have never had formal waitress training and what i have picked has been done watching others be it in real life or on tv and by making mistakes and learning from them. i am not polished, but with this wedding crowd it didn�t really matter. cocktail napkins were looked upon as an oddity, actually any sort of napkins were looked at as an oddity. before the proceedings we had wrapped the cutlery in linen napkins held together with a bow. when we were cleaning up after the event we found more than a dozen (and there were only 50 guests) napkins still intact. i guess i shouldn�t have been surprised, it was also the first wedding i had been to where a harley davidson t-shirt was worn.
